So people let me tell you 'bout my bestfrieeeennnddd! My best friend is Eco Styling Gel & all its magical greatness. The Olive Oil kind is the only one I trust to touch all my kinks & coils. It has not failed me & we formed this love boat connection purely by accident. Design Essentials Mousse was my fave product for a good ol' twist out. I used Eco Styling Gel solely for when I do pineapples & my signature puff. One faithful wash day, I ran out of my beloved product, so with skepticism, I twisted my hair with the Eco Styling Gel I had on hand. And the rest has been history! This product has not failed me! My curls are forever popping with this green crack!

The Pros of the gel:

-The Twist Out lasts so much longer!

-The curls are oh so defined!

-It enhances your natural curl pattern! (I hate wash & go's, but this a fab product for when I occasionally take the plunge!)

The Cons:

-I won't lie, my hair does feel dry, so always add moisture (oils are key) everyday & pamper yourself, while promoting hair growth with scalp massages!

-There are the occasional white flakes, BUT your curls are popping so I'll take it. I emphasize occasionally, because it depends on the amount you use. Use a generous amount, but never too much. Major key.

This week I put a spin on my traditional twist out with four braided bantu knots. The bantu knots are just for decoration! Stay tuned for why me & bantu knots are mortal enemies. But this week's twist out held the results of: my curls were popping AFTER 4 days of being twisted up! I usually only leave my twists in for a day, but I was lazy this week. I fall in love more & more after each take down! Grow & glow loves, with a bomb twist out!
